Hey!

Did anyone tried this one ?
http://mac-on-linux.sourceforge.net/

Seems quite interesting (and, at least, not *dead* like PearPC Neutral )

I'll try it on my Kubuntu soon, if I figure out how to compile it properly Smile
2011 : I'm no longer using PearPC... It was fun, though :) Thanks to all contributors !

I tired Mac-on-Mac, which is the Mac port of Mac-on-Linux.

Just wondering, you do know that MOL will only run on PPC hardware?

I wasn't sure about it, as I saw some files named "i386" in the sources... Now I understand I've never heard about this before Smile

hmmm... PearPC is not REALLY dead yet. And what we have to do is to save pearpc from death.
Also, I think mac-on-linux is like VMware to run on PPC hardware and not an emulator like PearPC.

Hi Amon91 !

PearPC may not be dead, but it didn't get any official development since almost two years... Apple has chosen to build Macs on X86 architecture. PowerPC is no more for general public, hence its emulation on other platforms has lost interest.

The worst sign of agony is PearPC's developers and most talented contributors have all gone to OSX86 Neutral

I'd really like to fiddle with PearPC's code, but I don't have any programming skill in C, C++ and assembler Sad

Yeah, I sooooo much want to find a way of downloading FREELY OSX86, but not torrents or Emule. They are too slow Sad

Yaroslav : OSX86 is built from copyrighted material... Downloading/having/using it is piracy...

In fact, I switched from OSX86 to PearPC.
