Mac OS X 10.1 Puma Torn System Folder

Postby pavilion99 » Sun Jun 03, 2012 1:51 pm

PearPC Version: 0.5.0
Config File: http://justpaste.it/10wk
Virtual Hard Disk: http://www.pearpc.net/files/macosx_3gb.rar
OS X Version: 10.1 "Puma"

I installed OS X with the install CD image from Puma, and after I install it says everything went well, but then I restart and attempt to boot from hard disk, and it boots for about 2 minutes, then the little finder logo changes to a torn system folder image. So, naturally I booted from OS X disc and tried Disk Utility, to no avail. It says that the drive is healthy, and I have heard people say that the torn system folder means that it is broken beyond repair. I have tried almost everything, and I know what I'm doing so I'm really frustrated. Any ideas?
