Long live PearPC!

Emulation is much different from, as has been pointed out, what rosetta does. Just keep that in mind.

Well, except that Emulation is what Rosetta does...

But yeah, it's not full system emulation, so PearPC will always have a niche that no one else has. It's also pretty small, so the likelihood of a commercial competitor is pretty low, too.

Well, you know... NOW...

Every month it's the same thing... someone starts this debate and it goes on and on... (well, not every month, but you know what I mean Wink )

Do we really need to debate this issue once again?

I don't think so. PearPC is... well... PearPC. There's really nothing else quite like it.

This is my attempt to end the debate.

PearPC is a PowerPC emulator. PowerPC is still used. Some people may still have PowerPC copies of OS X for ages. If you think that PearPC is dead because one of it's uses has gone, look at other emulators. Just because they are not emulating an architecture used by lots of people, doesn't mean they aren't useful. The same goes for PearPC

/me hopes that made sense
