PearPC Client OS as primary OS in a pc

Discuss PearPC's Development and any bugs you find here

Postby Dude » Mon Aug 08, 2005 6:47 am

Hello? anybody home? I've been watching this post for some time and it seemed like there were a lot of people helping it and interested in it. How can they all just let this die? But I supose nobody even reads this any more. It's a real shame since Likt had made some real strides in development before Nurve disappeared. Does ANYBODY now what actually happened to him?

The last we saw of him was an update to his website a few months ago.

Thats rather weird that he dissapeared like that. I mean he did say that he was in school in one of his previous posts. But you htink he would have said something.

Why use the linux kernel? Wouldn't it be more capable and taliored if you wrote your own kernel? This just doesn't seem like the best option

I would suggest the base system from Ubuntu and the x requirements on top of that.
In essence that is what I am doing with my PC.
