Maybe... just maybe

I think maybe there's a chance we can stream the output from itunes to the airport extreme with built-in aac codec from pearpc. Requires hardware, but i'm testing right now.

elaboration : I think it might be possible to have sound output from PearPC , via iTunes. Since , its possible to stream music from Airport express to a Hi-Fi.

Commentary : Yes , I think its possible. But , remember you only can *stream* AAC , M3U , MP3 , or any other media format files which are supported in iTunes only

And how do you want it to stream trough a wlan-card? PearPC doesn't support one, and even if you would implement one, it would be easier to implement an sound card. Or don't I get it?

Not via WLAN Card. I can even stream my music to Airport express (via WRT54G) (using WDS). So all clients that are connected via Ethernet and stream it to airport express. WDS allows you to "bridge" two routers wirelesly , thus allowing them to exchange services. So , Its possible

I have tested out in Windows , I will do it in PearPC !

But we gain only the possibility to listen to iTunes's music via AirTunes, don't we? So, what's the use?
