whats with these nvidia fan boys? AMD ruls in cpus and ATI ruls in graphics, go with a radeon X800 for midraNGE OR AN x1800 OR x1900 uber games. just make sure that your motherboard has pci express support it is fasing out agp

1st) ATI is cheap dirt supposed to render graphics, while nvidia is golden powder which is actualy able to render graphics.

2nd) The first sentence does not make much sense at all

3rd) uber is spelled ?ber and is used in a completely different way with a completely different meaning.

What's that supposed to mean?

I've never had any trouble out of my ATI card (mobility radeon x300). In fact, it works quite nicely.

I have had 3 ATI cards now, and every one of them has melted. None of my nVidia's have had this problem

LOL, OK:
ATI -> cheap, bad quality, even AA looks different to nVidia
nVidia -> a bit more expensive, great quality, AA looks good.

Eh?

Any artifacting you see is JPEG compression. The image was too big to upload in a lossless format.

[edit] here's a link to the lossless (png) image: http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/7273/3dmarkmx3001br.png

Give me a picture for comparison and I'll believe you.

Sorry, I ment its anisotropic filtering:
nVidia
ATI
Have a look at the right end of the tribune...

I think they just used different levels of filtering.

Aside from the crowd, I think the textures in the ATI shot (such as on the road, on the cars) look a little smoother, especially the lines on the road.

And how does this matter in a game where you'll be driving at 200 Mi/h and won't be looking at the stands, anyways?
